We are making many foundational changes this month. They are all for your future benefit along with some new things you can take advantage of today.

  • These release notes are coming from a centralized CRM system we are now using for Sales, Support, Marketing and Onboarding to better align all communications with you - yes, it sure would be nice if there were a CRM system for the car business that could do that.  Maybe someone should work on that 🤫
  • future | We are retuning the way your entire inventory pencils. Instead of doing nightly updates we plan to be penciling your inventory for each customer, in real time.. Yes, that means you could tune every car you carry for a single person. More to come on that front. 
  • future | MESSAGEiQ is a gigantic body of work we have begun coding.  It will be a way for you to "take digital ups" and better share illumiQUOTEs with your customers.  Look for it in Q4 of this year.
  • BDC help | RESPONSEiQ ☎️ pricing has changed to work better for the way you do business.  Our BDC is also able to respond to your leads 24/7.  If you haven't looked at it in a while, you should take a second look.  



Lead/known customer page

See all the people who have either submitted a lead in illumiQUOTE or opened one of your first quality response emails with the magic link that fired out of your CRM.


THIS IS AMAZING!  We have had access to this for a while and it has been blowing my mind because we can see all the people who revisit illumiQUOTE over and over and over again. There are a lot of them! And many customers do the same behaviors over and over and over again. It is super telling... it is almost like cheating.  


We are currently working on more ways to enhance this feature.

Scheduling in-store & at-home appointments

When a customer selects "I want to buy it" or "I want to see it" they now have the ability to schedule an appointment to do that.  You have the ability to setup whether they have the ability to select an in-store or at-home experience.


These will be shown in the ADF in your CRM.

Apply for financing option

If you wish to offer a customer a way to apply for financing we can now link directly to your website's credit applicaiton or whereever you want them to go. We chose to go this route in order to make sure you did not have to track another vendor's PII compliances instead of building our own credit application.

Customer comments

When a customer submits a reaction, they can now tell tell you more about what's on their mind.


These will be shown in the ADF in your CRM.

FIX: Taxing for the dealership location

Some counties apply sales tax on the business' location instead of the customer's. When applicable, this will fire again. It mostly applies to some parts of Washington state.   


How to add the credit app and at-home scheduling?

Settings >> QUOTE SETTINGS, BANKS, AND TAXES >> ALL VEHICLES >> scroll to the bottom.


Insert the URL for you website's credit application to show the "Apply for Credit" button.


Click on Show 'At Home' delivery and test drive options to show at home options to a customer.
